CASA of the New River Valley
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the New River Valley, a program of NRV CARES, trains volunteers to advocate for children in court.

On August 25, 2011, NRV CARES held its annual Volunteer Recognition Event at  Newport-Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Newport, VA.  Volunteers and others were recognized for their significant contributions to the welfare of New River Valley children and families.
