CASA of the New River Valley
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the New River Valley, a program of NRV CARES, trains volunteers to advocate for children in court.
Parenting Young Children
Systematic Training for Effective Parenting curriculum (STEP) for parents/caregivers of children ages birth through 6 years.
Community Education
NRV CARES engages in many community initiatives that work to prevent child abuse and neglect before it occurs.

December - Tree of Hope Campaign

This special direct mail appeal asks the community for support of NRV CARES programs.  Donations are made in honor of or in memory of someone—or simply in support of NRV CARES.  A holiday tree in the Christiansburg town square symbolizes the hopes of the children and families served by NRV CARES.
