CASA of the New River Valley
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the New River Valley, a program of NRV CARES, trains volunteers to advocate for children in court.
Parenting Young Children
Systematic Training for Effective Parenting curriculum (STEP) for parents/caregivers of children ages birth through 6 years.
Community Education
NRV CARES engages in many community initiatives that work to prevent child abuse and neglect before it occurs.

Directors' Advisory Council
The NRV CARES Council of Former Directors functions as an informed advisory group to the organization. Membership is open to former Board Members, who are invited to engage in the various aspects of our work and serve as community ambassadors for NRV CARES, utilizing their expertise.
